APIs and integrations

Expose your app over versioned, documented HTTP APIs, and call external services through credential-managed outbound requests.

What it gives you

  • API definitions map endpoints to queries and automations
  • Outbound HTTP calls run inside automations with managed credentials
  • Credentials are scoped per account or workspace
  • Everything an endpoint does is visible in the app definition

A worked concept

Define a "GET /requests" endpoint backed by a query and a "POST /requests/{id}/approve" endpoint backed by an automation. A scheduled job calls an external ERP to pull invoice status.

How it works

Defined endpoints

Endpoint definitions describe what runs — a query or an automation — and the response shape; the platform compiles and enforces them.

Managed credentials

Outbound calls resolve scoped credentials at runtime; secrets stay safely outside your app definitions.

Standard API descriptions

APIs are described in a standard, documented format, keeping the interface explicit for consumers and the platform alike.

Worth knowing

  • Integrations connect over standard HTTP APIs today, with a connector catalog growing from there
  • Endpoints run your platform definitions — consistent with everything else
